The Winter Reading Program (WRP) has officially begun and you know what that means? It’s time to reveal the names of our library Gnomes! Voting took place last week and the chosen names are… LuLu and Patrick Gnahomes! They’ll be with us all Winter and will be participating in the Winter Reading Program themselves. Stop by the library to pick up your Winter Reading Program Passport to begin earning stickers for fun prizes! The WRP will end on January 4th, 2020, so you have plenty of time to read lots of books! Do you think you can read more books than Patrick and LuLu?
We had such Fun with Mrs. Claus last year that she decided to come back to the library! We can’t wait to see her again! This event REQUIRES registration as space is limited. Avoid disappointment by signing up now through our online calendar at lansingkslibrary.org to save your spot.
The monthly programs are still scheduled for December. Bedtime Storytime will be on Wednesday, December 4th at 6pm. Bring the kids by in their pajamas to sing some songs and hear a cozy bedtime story. The next Toddler Time will be on December 7th at 10:30am! Join us for this monthly program for songs, rhymes, and fun stories followed by hands-on sensory activities! This program is open to all children age 3 and under. Lego Club will be on Wednesday, December 18th from 4:30 to 5:30pm. There will be some fun challenges and creative free time for children of all ages. Finally, we have STEAM Saturday and Cinema Saturday on December 21st. We will be having fun exploring with science activities at 10:30am, then watching the Newly Released movie, Abdominable at 1:00pm. We hope to see you there!
